S7E6 - Russia...

Think most of here know Homeland is based on current events happening around the world to some degree so that leaves me thinking... how much has Russia infiltrated the western nations?

-Collusion and hacking in the US election
-Mysterious Novichok nerve agents made only in Russia since the WW2 days used in the UK
-Putin's 4th easy re-election
-Putin's remark about being able to easily turn off US/EU energy grid and that traitors soon get their death wish
-Already known reports reiterated over the years of Putin cold war mentality and wants to bring back the glory days of the once USSR

Also, not too long ago, China changed it's stance on attending events stateside by barring Chinese hackers from going to white hat conventions such as Pwn2own and others. Chinese hackers always come out on top when finding exploits in western applications (web browsers, OS, etc.).

With the turmoil in the white house and Trump mouthing off on Twitter getting everyone riled up and against each other, this is the perfect time for communist countries to go on the offensive cyberwise if not more. US may be the most powerful and technological when it comes to the military but it ain't much useful if their population is brain dead and that they can easily get hacked.
