where does Brett O'Keefe get his information?

I understand that a lot of it he simply makes up, but does he at least keep up the pretense of investigative journalism? And why do people seem to just trust him blindly considering he's been on the run for two months and doesn't even have the resources to investigate?

Since he is made out to be like our reality's Alex Jones, my guess is he has insider sources in various elite camps that bring him information, and in turn he relays that to the public. Yes, some stuff is extremely sensational and unpredictable, like "WORLD WAR 3 IMMINENT" and "AMERICA IS A POLICE STATE", but some stuff is based on truth--which is very scary.
