Maybe I was sleeping or missed something, but how did the Senator get ...
into Dar Adal's refrigerator?
I must have completely spaced on that or been out of the room.

I'm curious about this as well. I still don't know what his significance is.
shareWell, somehow he must have been associate with the
right-wing TV guy, and the general, and Dar Adal found
the connection and grabbed him to find out what was
going on.
I am getting the feeling that the post-mortem will be
what the next season is about. I still don't get how they
got to that point, or who the Senator was ... or what was
going on?
I googled the senator, and apparently we've seen him briefly in the first episode of this season, conspiring with Dar and general McClendon. His name is senator Elian Coto. Seems that senator Coto and McClendon decided to pin everything on Quinn without informing Dar about it.
P.S. Also, the senator talked with Saul in a hotel bar at one point of the series. Possibly to decide if Saul could join them in a conspiracy, but decided against telling Saul anything.
Aha ... good catch, but I am still not sure what that
means, or was supposed to mean.
The homosexuality think between Quinn and Adal was kind
of creepy and hard to believe. That Adal cared about
Peter as he tried to make it seem.
Where did the orders come from to storm Peter's
cabin and kill him, along with the woman, and why?
I'm assuming the general, but who was running the
team out of that house. Seems like that would have
had to be Dar Adal since Peter worked for him before.
That would lead the viewer to think that Adal cared
about Peter, or did he just see an assassination plan
with Peter as the pasty coming up?
This area seems like a weak point in the plot.
Yes, that's a weak point. Unless the guy with a cap took matters into his own hands and decided to kill Quinn after Quinn recognized him in a supermarket, to save his own skin? That could possibly explain the attack on Quinn.
shareOr maybe he was looking for Quinn once it was reported there were pictures of him, and Dar really was trying to save him by hiding him. But then, how did he track him down?
