Quinn ever recover ?

I believe the show creators are "making it up as they go".

At first it looked like they killed him off, but after the backlash from the viewers, producer said "Quinn has a good chance of coming back"... and they returned him for this season.... based on popular demand, no doubt.

This gives me hope that if viewers want Quinn to recover, he will. Maybe not this season, but the next one. :)

Right now I hope that Quinn won't end up behind bars for what he did the last episode. Can you imagine if they keep him in prison for the rest of the season? It would take away a big amount of my viewing pleasure.

It doesn't look like it. In S6E6 he's only getting worse, even blaming Carrie for his being held by authorities. Looks like an old friend from Germany has stopped by to wish him luck though. :)
