Josh and Cornelia are in their mid-40s yet their friends their age have babies and little kids. Shouldn't most people around that age have kids in high school or college?

Most people wait until they are comfortable financially. He's prob 40ish. Her late 30's

I mean most people I know (who are financially well off) had their first kids in the mid 20s to early 30s.

In this day and age, you either have kids in your late 30's or your early 20's. Few people have them in between those two ages. People avoid intimacy and commitment until society dictates you can't put off any longer.

I don't think there is a "rule" or some a particular moment or age in life to have a kid. And especially since we know humans are living longer, what does age really have to do with the "best moment" to have a kid ? I think this way of thinking is a bit old fashioned.
