Just because a movie has a lot of famous faces, it doesn't make it a good movie. I read all these reviews from people who are trying so hard to read meaning into this movie. I guess people could read anything they want into it, but really there is nothing there! Maybe the book was better, but this was just a bunch of crap thrown together with any explanations left out. Seriously, there is NO story here. It's like some drivel a junior high kid would write for class. I really enjoy intellectual movies that make you think, but this isn't one of them.

Do not waste your time or money on this crap!!

I totally agree, my friend. Although I did revel in the psychedelic, wash-a-way hippie scenes and sequences.... I felt very disconnected at the very end despite how hard I tried to connect with the movie and the characters.

I agree. It dragged in so many places. I had a hard time keeping it on until the end.

A lot of people who don't like the film say this. I honestly couldn't disagree more with claims like these.

Well if a breathtaking work of art and the best movie of 2015 is a waste of time, then yeah, this is a waste of time. But I enjoyed it so much, it is like one of those movies that just aren´t made anymore. And Owen Wilso was just the cherry on top. And how good Brolin was! all in all a great and suspenseful crime comedy. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. This is a movie in the vein of Kiss kiss bang bang, just so much better.

Oh God Kiss Kiss Bang Bang sucked. I forgot all about that dreadful film until you resurrected it from the cesspit.

Well you´re free not to like comic film noir, but I do.. so too bad.
