Firstly, I want to say that his reaction as he turns around and tries a couple of jabs as he falls to the ground has me in stitches every time. Joaquim's timing here is brilliant.
Strangely though, I had a feeling of deja-vu when I saw it and wasn't sure if I had seen a similar scene before or maybe that clip. Anyone know of a similar scene in which someone is clubbed and responds with some futile punches before collapsing?

The special features on the bluray are great. Watching them before/after the film is all you need to understand it - there is a reverse shot in them showing Doc go down from a 180 perspective. Love stuff like that.

That was probably the first of many scenes that reminded me of the Big Lebowski. Maybe that's it?
