Why do people think this is his worst movie?
It's obviously a lot better than the last two Resident Evil movies he made.
shareNo doubt about that but for a guy who has delivered one masterpiece after the oher since Boogie Nights it sure was a disappointment. It's the second "decent" P.T. Anderson film since Hard Eight.

What are you talking about? Resident Evil: Afterlife and Pompeii were both massive fails and could never be considered masterpieces. Inherent Vice is so much better than either of those movies, and is at least up there with Event Horizon and Resident Evil: Apocalypse in terms of quality.
