I'm a bit confused about... *Spoiler*

What Bigfoot was doing while they nearly killed Doc with the number 4.
Doc barely survives and Bigfoot is just loading his car?
First I thought he was corrupt, wanted Doc to die there and steal some drugs to make some money out of it. Did he change his plan because Doc survived?
Doc just joins him while Bigfoot didn't seem surprised to see him after almost just being murdered. Bigfoot didn't even care to help him?

I guess I missed something...

Bigfoot used Doc to kill Adrian Prussia, the murderer of his partner. Remember when he commented on Doc's prowess on the shooting range?

reply

yeah, but how did he know that Doc would get out of that situation and kill Adrian?
I mean, he was probably going to die there

I don't think he worried about whether Doc would survive. He just wanted his enemy dead.
In the scene where he eats the pot, he says "I'm sorry", in unison with Doc. Perhaps that was an apology for using Doc and putting him in danger.

reply

perhaps, but how was he sure his enemy would die?
the scene after he kills him, Bigfoot acts like nothing just happened, thats what's really confusing me, as if everything went according to plan.
but there were so many variables at play, that it doesn't make any sense.

Sometimes you just get lucky.

I don't think Bigfoot was invested in Doc's welfare. Doc went on his own and Bigfoot hoped for the outcome that ocurred, but he would have moved on to another resolution if Doc had not killed the baddies.
He certainly had confidence in Doc, though. He was already loading the drugs when Doc appeared.

although it's pretty far fetched... it's the most logical explanation, albeit, it's not very logical

I don't think its all that far fetched. In spite of Bigfoot's hatred of Doc, he was pretty confident in Doc's abilities. Granted it could have gone either way, but like the previous poster said, I'm sure he had a backup plan in place in case Doc didn't escape.

Dopers ESP maybe. It is a bit surreal and weird, but the two of them definitely have duality or psychic connection going on. This is made clearer in the pot eating scene, which is also weird. Then the whole Sortiliege thing.
