The biggest problem I had with this movie was the lingo being used. It's all very dry and technical, and it's difficult to follow what's going on unless you have prior understanding to this kind of stuff. That and I found the sheer amount of arab names difficult to keep up with. I actually ended up turning on the subtitles so I could better understand the movie.

Not a huge fan of Katheryn Bigelow as a director, I find a lot of her movies quite boring.

i've done that, turn subtitles on so I could better follow the story.

Points in this movie were hard to understand, watching it a 2nd time helped.

Sometimes I just go with the flow and hopefully it will make sense in the end.

Completely agree, and all those reasons are why this movies is very lucky to even have the IMDB rating that it has.

Re-watch with subtitles, a pause button and access to wikipedia.
