when i left this movie I was royally confessed. i had no idea what the heck I had just seen. the first thing that confessed me is that they saved the leader only for him to die again later what is up with that. he is obviously unneeded after he explained everything why not just have him die later. also the part where the lady controlling the maze project killed herself but did not really die. why would she just be wiping off the makeup why not just record the video and disappear what if the boys got there quicker. she left that up to chance. overall it was a very confusing film. maybe i should have read the book first.

My english is fine. I had only two minutes to write this, and as time was ticking down I was speeding up which I admit was a mistake. Who are you to talk about grammar your second sentence is not even a full sentence. also my vocabulary is superb. I think people like you just have to much time on their hands so they go around trying to correct everyone. this is only a theory but i'm sure it is true. I don't understand why the female villain didn't prerecord the video either. Wonder if that's just bad movie making or what.

I'm tempted to read the books now. I want to find out what happens now and the the next movie sequel

The books are much better. They didn't seem to keep much from the book except the concept of a maze. The scientists, in the book, are all alive when the Gladers show up and then get killed by the 'rescue' squad. I would definitely read the book. All of these message boards are making me not want to watch the movie, and after reading the synopsis, where there doesn't seem to be much kept from the book, I am also disinclined(?) to watch the movie and instead stick to the books.

Even if they did, they would still need a body on the floor. For all we actually know it could have been prerecorded.

first off quoting someone is not a sign of retardation. I have no idea how you would come to that conclusion. Even if you consider Einstein mentally challenged, quoting him would indicate nothing more then the quote has meaning to a point made in an argument or discussion.

I advise you to read the book. The book was really good, but unfortunately the movie didn't stick to the original story which makes this one a bit confusing because there were so many details that were changed and weren't included in the film. And for sure the following adaptations will be different now since the first part was changed a lot.

Yes, definitely read the book. It will answer a lot of questions. This was a very confusing movie if you haven't read the books.
It really wasn't left up to chance since they were actually watching the Gladers' every move. They were bringing that phase of the experiment to an end and were basically pushing them in the right direction. The Gladers were taking the bait and getting through the maze. They knew when they were coming.

In some ways, I think I should've WAITED and read the book afterwards. When I read books beforehand, I'm ALWAYS disappointed by the movies that don't explain anything good enough. The books will always be better than the movies.

In this case, the same is true for both the book and movie. Not a whole lot happens and it takes a long time to get to the end and have the questions semi-answered only to be handed a dozen more questions. It's fast-paced nothingness until they actually get out.

I read the book and while it does take a while before the action begins, I think that there were a lot of important points left out in the movie. I think the movie has to be one of the worst movie adaptations from a book.

Ava paige wiping her forehead in the last scene confuse you? Why? You confuse me. I don't think it's confusing at all. My friends who watched it with me didn't ask me a single question and none of them read the book. The pace is maddening, a look at your cellphone, a distraction with your pop corn and you'll miss elemental information but as confusing???Maybe it's more like a lot of answers will come in the upcoming sequels.

The movie is a disgraced compare to the books. This particular movie left so many important details that is almost unbearable to watch it after having read The Maze Runner book. What happened at the end of the movie did never happen in the book. For example, the fat kid "Chuck" dies when they try to escape, from the glade. Gally dies and "Ava" never gives them a pep talk. It is literally one of the worst adaptations from book to movie.

No, confusing "its" and "it's" or "their" and "they're" is a "common mistake." Using a preposition in place of a verb is only a common mistake among functional illiterates.
