Subtitles, my dear friend.
"im beautiful your not" - me
"you're* " - you
Not surprised you're confused because while the screenplay is shot in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, the three lead actors are Neil Maskell, a Londoner; Michael Smiley from Belfast, Northern Ireland (so technically, he's not British) and MyAnna Buring, who's Swedish (but with little trace of Swedish). The lead two both have strong accents relative to their origin. From my point of view, the authenticity of the accents help with the realism.
...it's just another dumb film, get over it.
Good points, did you also watch it on film4?
shareRecently, yes, but I'd seen it before somewhere on TV. I didn't go for the supernatural stuff. I'd have preferred a realistic, hard core, down-to-earth ending along the lines of Get Carter.

Supernatural? I didn't see anything supernatural in the movie, only some weird rituals performed. Spooky cults are not necessarily magical.. :)
shareSame thing here. I mean I speak English I don't get why it's so hard to speak more clearly. It seemed like they were straight up mumbling. Plus subtitles weren't available. I feel like I missed a bunch of details too which blows.
