Such a great film! 6.2 is an utter insult

I just re-watched this on NYE and was left with the same impression as the first time - what a killer flick! It's the epitome of a 'slow burn' horror. The payoff in the final act is disorienting, shocking and genuinely horrifying. The second time around I had much more appreciation for the build up. The dialogue, acting, sound design, special/practical effects and cinematography all work so well together. The film immerses you in a hyper-realistic world all the way until the end where what happens is so unbelievable, that you feel like the rug has been pulled out from under you. It's truly masterful film making. And as a fan of the horror genre, this is a true gem. The IMDb score is incredibly disappointing. Not unusual for horror to be underrated though. 9/10 for me.
