Christine photographing the killer with her cell phone

I know it seems silly to comment about this, but did anyone else feel that it was weird that she is standing in the very next front yard where the killer was out doing yardwork and just held up her cell phone ready to take a picture of him? If my next door neighbor did that to me I'd be creeped out. She wasn't even subtle about it. She's lucky he didn't charge at her. Of course he might have, if the cops didn't show up right then and there. And then when they do, she's not taking any more pictures? It's her lead story, surely a reporter would have the sense to start snapping pictures of the Grim Sleeper getting arrested. She was an idiot.

Oh well, that stood out to me for some reason.
