"Morningside Tribune"?

Definitely a little Phantasm reference, by Coscarelli, for all the phanboys like me. Morningside Tribune was the name of the newspaper they find blowing in the wind, in the overgrown basketball court, in whatever that alternate universe was supposed to be, at the very end. Also, that big silver sphere thing that took them to that universe was pretty Phantasmic.

I thought the spot where they materialized, when they appear on that hillside in Korrok's world, looked a lot like the spot where they get transported to by the tuning fork gateway, in the first and second Phantasm.

And, Angus Scrimm, of course.
