This movie sucked. I usually like really weird and unconventional films, but this film simply sucked the life out of me. I started watching it and fell asleep toward the end with about 30 minutes left. Upon waking I see this giant mass of...something...I don't know what it was but there was a giant eye in the center and I just gave up. The movie just ended and I have already forgotten almost all of it. The story is...well...not there and that might be why I don't like it (I do prefer some story in my cinema) but I didn't find anything in this jumbled mess of random segments. It didn't coalesce at all...maybe it wasn't supposed to, I don't know, but I just don't get it. Someone convince me. How could anyone like this film. What's to love?

I have absolutely no idea how people can not like this. What is wrong with you? It was funny, twisted, frightening, clever, engaging, it didn't take itself too seriously. It had everything. i get the feeling you weird people take the fun out of everything.

To me, it was excellent. If you don't get it, it's not for you and that's ok.

Read the book. The book explains a lot better, at least I thought it did. I just finished the book and was so happy to watch the movie after, I'm about 20 minutes in and I already don't like it as much.

I just finished watching the movie after reading the book. I can't believe how badly they butchered the book
