Why not make a miniseries about the Mitfords themselves? I know we have "Love in a Cold Climate", and that it is a novel (actually two novels) that were close to the truth -,but when you read the story of the real Mitfords, it's got plenty of drama, humour and everything a good miniseries should have -- and it was true.
