She portrays a real b**** in this show. She is still good though although I am a bit confused what her part is in this family.

She was Lady Maud's younger half-sister, and therefore Sir Hallam's aunt.

Alex was quite wonderful in this show. Not sure what was expected of her.

I loved her in this show. In the 1930s as a woman you had to be tough if you were going to survive in a man's world. But if you looked at how she was with Pamela and Lady Agnes she was quite kind, loving, and was a good "aunt" to them.
