Throwing children off roof ??! LMAO

I enjoyed the movie. It reminded me of good old school movies of this genre. Wilson was great in Behind Enemy Lines and is great in this.
I did LMAO when he had to throw his kids from one roof to another. That was just great lol.

THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU !!!!

Worthless kids once again ruin a promising movie. I haven't been this
annoyed watching some brat screaming since War of the Worlds.

reply

war of the worlds was garbage but that's stupid
the kids were an essential part of the story.

LOL!

reply

I agree. I don't see what the kids brought to this. One could Argue all we needed was Owen Wilson in Asia.
How great if Vince Vaughn woukd have played the pierce Bronson part

reply

ya, the shrieking drove me nuts too! The kids prevented me from making this a 9 rating. The kids component is just too darned hyped up and adds for manipulated emotions. Dad telling his daughter to just shoot makes no sense either.
A parent should do the opposite. For if the child is shot, then the parent must live with that guilt, and the dead child, well is dead. Whereas if the child does shoot, then the child must live with that horror her whole darned life.
No that scene was the stupidest.
Oh and the girl going off for a swim on her own several floors away on their second day in town with all communications down and no news from the company... horrible parenting script here. Just too annoying.

***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**

reply

these girls weren't as bad as the little brat from The Road

reply

bet you'd let these crazy dudes shoot your daughters to death then eh?

reply

You do what you can to survive. Nothing funny about the scene and very suspenseful,

I laughed too, was awesome. I just made a post about it being a throwback...There is a total lack of these movies, and an abundance of nerdy comic book stuff that I used to love until it went overboard. But obviously I am in the minority since they make like a billion dollars a piece. They can make as many as they want as long as some of the profits go to stuff like this or an actual fuuny comedy.

reply

Put yourself in similar situation and think, would you rather let them get killed by the rebels or threw them off the roof? Not to mentioned that the rebels might not killed them and do something worse. You people that laughed at the scene are really heartless and remained bleak to others. Pathetic.

reply

U do know that this is fiction and not a documentary?

reply

I hated those effing kids. When the rebels were trying to kick the hotel door in, Mom's calmly telling the kid "Please, Go in the bathroom". Please? PLEASE!? Get in the god damn bathroom NOWWW!!! Then they wonder why the older one is acting up, running off and doing her own thing at the pool. I would like to have seen him throw short.

reply

Yeah, rp69!

One minute, you're watching a Hollywood movie, KNOWING that they'd safely reach the other building, but how AWESOME would it have been if the first child was followed by the camera & gone **>CRUUUNCH<** against the edge of the 2nd building and fallen off, ending with a satisfying **splat**

Then Owen Wilson looks at the 2nd daughter & says "ah well .... your turn"

reply

The worst part of the movie!

reply

one of the most ridiculous scenes ever I've seen in my life
