It's a shame that pierce brosnans character is killed off quickly I wanted to see him in more action. So the unrest is justified? He mentions that foreign influence caused the mayhem cause they the rebels felt their freedoms and way of life threatened by westerners.
Just watched it. And I must say one of the best action movies I've seen in a long I time. The roof scene stole it. Awesome movie
Yes it was a very good action-thriller. That rooftop scene was so tense. I've seen alot of movies this year and many of the ones I was looking forward to turned out to be a little dissapointing (Black Mass, Everest..) but this was a nice surprise.

That *beep* roof scene was so well done. The desperation shown by Owen Wilson character was amazing, the way he throwed his little daughter suddnly while distracting her tottally got me by suprise.

shareThe roof scene was nice but the script took a turn right there on the rooftop...it was such a big plot hole cause if the bad guys found them and knew they were on the roof, they should have called for everyone and not just a few snipers...they would have stormed that roof...lame plot hole or miss in the detalis but a decent movie overall.

It was a pretty good movie but it could have been better in some ways.
-With the whole justifying the rebels thing- it's hard to buy it when they're enjoying attempting to rape a guy's wife in front of him and trying to make a little girl shoot her father, I think they could have done that whole justifying thing better if most of the rebels didn't seem to ENJOY brutally killing families. I was hoping Brosnan would have a little more screen time but he went out in a badass way and I'm thankful for that considering they could have easily given him a lame death.
