There were good Asians in the film - the rebel who clearly spotted the family when they were escaping on the moped and chose not to turn them in...the older man who initially shooed them away with a broom but then had compassion and took them in...Pierce Brosnan's friend at the opium house who risked his life to shelter them for the night. It was a horrific situation and the rebels were murderous but that's not a referendum on all Asians.

That is a giant reach there and frankly just you attempting to find wrong where there is none. I guess the police that tried to stop the murderous rebels were bad too? The hotel staff that tried to barricade the entrance to protect the guests were bad too? That the people killed in the office building by the tank shells were bad people too? The old man that tried to help the family by allowing them to hide was bad too? Or Kenny was bad too? Did you even watch the same movie or did you fall asleep?

Maybe you missed the point being made that the "evil white men" were coming to the country putting them in crippling debt for modernizing the infrastructure, so that they could own the country, and that the rebels were acting out on it.

LOL Vietnamese saved all of those guys in the end. There are also a ton of native people who helped and saved the main character.
And last time I check, Vietnamese are Asians.

That is certainly what Hollywood keeps getting paid to tell us in moronic stories that don't make any sense.
