What the *beep* did I watch ...

It started off well, but then collapsed into a mash of unrealistic *beep* annoying kids you'd want to throw off the roof and down into the concrete yourself. No one of them deserved to live. Just an annoying family you'd want dead most of all (except the attempted rape-fellow).

Those kids were just so incredibly unlikable. It was anti-climatic throughout the whole movie as well, with utter stupidity, 1000 yard gunshots, kids thrown 15 meters (most *beep* dragged out scene ever btw (as it took forever for those crying *beep* to listen), after F&F airport scene)). I felt nothing in the end. They passed the border into Vietnam, and then they were laying in that hospital bed, and I didn't give a *beep* 'Ok, you're happy, blabla'.

No Escape is a movie you'd want to refrain from taking seriously. No name of the country is given, nothing about the regime, no nothing. Even though the name may have been kept anonymous for political purposes, there's still nothing to link to anything anywhere. There's no context in the whole movie. 103 minutes of crap. It's so absurd that they just pick a random roof as their shelter. Not to mention earlier in the movie, the time Wilson interrupts a conference going as planned, and they're yelling at him for blocking the screen. No, because they haven't heard or know what's going on outside, where fire bombs, people screaming, gunshots, bombs etc. are fired.

No one to the rescue. Apparently that limited amount of people, who came barging in with tanks and battle-copters, took over the whole damn thing. Almost no resistance. No additional forces to aid.

It's cringeworthy, it's laughable. It is ... one of the worst movies of the year. How people can rate this 6,8 avg. is beyond any intellectual being's comprehension. It can't Escape bad critics.

kids were annoying... I would of taped their mouths shut the entire time if I was Owen Wilson's character.

But you are a fool to think that building gap was 15 meters. Try 3 meters. No way they'll have 15 meter gaps between buildings in the CBD.
And they were thrown from a higher ground.

And the one reason why this film has a high rating is because it entertained and kept audiences engaged and tense.
