...when the people you're supposed to be rooting for are so dumb and unlikable you want them to get killed....

They were annoying on the plane, they criticized the driving of the guy giving them a free ride, the wife crying in the bathroom was ridiculous, and then it just got worse from there. It was unbearable to watch them. The absolute worst was when the moron wife decided to give herself up to 6 guys with guns so the husband could grab a gun. What was the plan after that?

Have you ever been in a country where the drivers are beyond terrible and putting your life in danger? I have and trust it does turn you into that annoying whiny person. I just came from a country where I went to a fast food and it took them 52 minutes to make scrambled eggs - we were pissed, hungry and probably annoying since we complained. We should have just canceled the order, but stuck around to get our food - which still ended up being screwed up.

The wife crying in the bathroom was very realistic, and I'm saying that from knowing people that felt lost and homesick in a country that's not their own. It's a crazy feeling and I know that feeling firsthand.

I guess it's easy to hate on white Americans, but most don't visit a country with ill wishes.

Have you ever thought that you aren't easy to get along with either? People aren't perfect just as these characters weren't. Flawed as everyone is

I'll admit the family had a few annoying moments. But nobody deserves to be put through an ordeal like that. It was horrendous.
Maybe a bit over the top, but ii was on the edge of my seat through the whole movie.
