If he wins it, it'll be for sentimental reasons. He hasn't given a good performance in decades. Just your average Hollywood paycheck whore.

keep in mind that the Academy is obligated to give out an Oscar to a Black Actor for best Actor and/or Supporting Actor in 2017 because of the uproar in 2016. They cant afford to also gift away another one for a life time achiever unless Bobby's performance really merits one.

Nah, I think he might be nom'd and maybe win a GGlobe, but not an Oscar. He's not doing anything he hasn't done in the past few movies.
