At the end during the chase scene,it looked like part of their house was being remodeled. The house did not seem that big, and at no point in the film is there any indication that there is remodeling going on.I think they were in the basement, but it just seemed like the filmmakers wanted a good chase scene without realistically thinking about the size of the house. It's little things like this that I notice, sorry, but I just couldn't let it go. I also thought it was cool that Chuck E. Cheese let their name be used in a film like this.

I can't beleive they got away with the Chuck E Cheese thing, but if you watch closely it never shows the entire name. More like "huck E Chees".

I bet the inside was most likely filmed on a soundstage. Those tunnel-slide things have never seemed so creepy before.

The mom said at the beginning "stay out of there, it's dangerous" as the kid was running through the plastic. So they did hint that they were remodeling.

Yeah, they also showed the house being in stages of being remodeled in the beginning.
