I wouldn't recommend this poorly made, poorly acted cheese-fest.
I don't have much to say about this film other than, I watched it last night
and I was pretty much laughing all the way through.
It was so bad in almost every way.
Even the scenes where the kids got murdered were unintentionally funny.
Definitely one for the easily pleased IMO.

These movies are meant to be quite funny. It's usually called 'campy' and many people enjoy them for exactly what they are. Some other great campy horror movies include Night(correction RETURN) of the Living Dead, Evil Dead 2, Dead Alive and Shaun of the Dead the list goes on. It's just a different genre than regular horror. Also C.H.U.D., Slither, Killer Klowns from outer Space. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!

I know we all have the right to an opinion, but I believe you are just over emphasising the fact you were disappointed.
Clearly, the movie was not laughable. It wasn't funny in the slightest and it wasn't meant to be. Only morbid people would laugh during the movie.
It was actually really well acted and the atmosphere of the movie was just right, again, in my own opinion.
I am not going to say it was the best horror of all time, but I am also not going to say it was the worst.
It really was everything that IT (1990) wasn't. The clown didn't turn into a huge spider and disappoint fans of true clown fears.

I came on here expressing my thoughts on this film.
I said I found it laughable. Not because I find kids getting killed funny.
But the way it was done was so poor and corny, that it made it funny to me.
There was some extremely poorly delivered lines from characters too.
The actors barely reacted to pain. IMO The acting was for the most poor, nothing above average.

LOL, it's cool man. I too, watched horror movies all my life from a young age, and I am now 31.
It is obviously going to be harder to impress as an adult as we constantly pick out faults as adults. As a child, we just enjoy and be terrified. Put yourself in a 10 year olds shoes and watch Clown.... It would be scary as hell.

I remember watching IT as a kid and that kept me up for weeks.
Now I watch it and I can't help but notice how poorly made and acted it is.
Maybe I was a little too harsh in my OP. I think I am just a little annoyed that I've not seen a decent horror film in a long time.
It was definitely not the worst horror I've seen (Check out Five Across The Eyes)
It's just not something I would watch again and not something I would recommend.
I did appreciate that the concept was fairly original though.

Yup, it was horrible. The trailer was pretty damn awesome, but the actual movie sucked. At times it felt like a student film, with some kinda cool clown make-up. The directing and editing was atrocious.
The fact that the director behind this crap is gonna make the new Spider-Man film is so insane that it's hilarious. What the *beep* is Hollywood thinking?
