The trailer made this look like an incredibly scary story. This was just a lame repetitive, elongated and tedious plot of a man putting up a fight with a clown costume. This could have been so much better. What a let down. Like people are better off watching the trailer then this movie.

Trailers sure do big up a bad movie. It's the old "never trust a book by its cover".

Thinking the same thing about The Green Inferno....
I think it would have worked great as a short story; like in a horror anthology tv show. but I didn't hate it. I could see what Roth was going for. the material was certainly horrific enough. but he didn't devote any time to making me care about the lead character. all we knew about him pre-clown was that he worked in real estate. and then the rest of it was just very mean spirited by-the-numbers "werewolf" film; way less fun than Cabin Fever.
