A story without redemption or hope

I liked the backstory of all these characters, Pollo was super cool, it seemed like a story was starting to develop then one by one the characters meet unusual deaths without any payoff to earlier plot points that had been set up. The movie seemed to start well structured then in the third act descends into antiplot format. It felt like Monty Pythons Holy Grail or Waynes World.

When I was a kid my friends and I used to take old toys and set them on fire or destroy them somehow because we were bored with them. Thats what this film felt like.. the writers created these toys then got bored with them and decided to destroy them in a complete meaningless random way without reason.

I hate the story, the theme or the purpose of the movie

I respect the craft, the hard work, and dedication that it took to make it. The actors and crew did a good job.

I kind of feel the same way. They seemed to setup all this stuff for the characters and then did away with it all, suddenly finding ways to kill everyone off in hopeless ways.

I guess we gotta have films like this to help the better ones shine!

Well said on all points, and I agree Pollo was the best character. The other two guys were whiny and pretty pathetic in general.

It did get pretty bizarre and abandoned all attempts at making sense almost like they had no idea what to do next. For me it started when the one guy randomly had his hand cleanly cut off, and started chasing it as it got kicked around. Went downhill from there.

I did get a laugh at the end. Seemed fitting.

Oh, and nice to know we werent the only ones destroying old toys.
