To anyone out there who has seen which of the main characters survive and which of the ones die and how
Here's all the deaths.
Ariel - Loses his hand while trying to help a bartender trapped under a wine rack. He goes into shock and starts bleeding to death. The group manages to get him on an aerial lift to transport him to a hospital, but the cable breaks, and he's killed when the lift hits the ground.
Gringo - Gets trapped under concrete debris. He's found by a group of escaped prisoners who douse him in alcohol and threaten to burn him alive if he doesn't tell them where the girls in the group are. He eventually relents and gives away the girls' hiding spot, which results in Irina being raped by Ramón, the leader of the convicts. Distraught at what he did, Gringo throws a rock at Ramón. This pisses Ramón off and he sets Gringo on fire.
Irina - After Gringo dies, she's raped a second time by Marito, Ramón's brother. When Pollo witnesses this, he hacks Marito to death with an axe. However, as she's being lead to safety, she gets shot in the back by Ramón.
Pollo - Gets shot in the chest while trying to enter a gated community. Since they're being chased by the escaped prisoners and he's slowing them down, the survivors are forced to abandon him. They hide him behind trash cans, but he gets a phone call from his father, which gives him away to the convicts. Ramón shoots him off-screen.
Kylie - While entering an underground tunnel, a ladder she's climbing down breaks. She falls and her leg is impaled by the metal rung she was clinging to. A firefighter who joined the group pulls the rung out and gives her his jacket to comfort her. While he looks at her leg, Kylie notices the firefighter is covered in tattoos and realizes he's actually one of the escaped prisoners. Her corpse is later found by Monica and the firefighter says she didn't suffer, but it's not clear how he killed her.
Monica - Emerging from the tunnel, she arrives on a beach and has a breakdown over being the only survivor. As she heads back to the tunnel, she notices a giant wave behind her. The film ends with her attempting to escape as a tsunami hits.
So yeah, none of the main characters survive.

That was excellent. However, if you watch closely, you can see the ladder rung that the prisoner took out of Kylie's leg sticking out of her mouth when Monica finds her. He either shoved it in her open mouth and through her head, or through the back of her head and left it sticking out of her mouth. Since the rung isn't all bloody and covered in goo, my bet is that she had her mouth open to scream and he shoved it in. Rude guy.
