Wasn't THAT bad but a couple things I couldn't stand...
Eli Roth giving up the girls - Seriously?? You are at the mercy of the worst kind of scum and you just believe they will let you go once they are allowed to rape the girls you told you would protect??? I just hate characters that do this, because it's completley nonsensical to give them up. You are already dead, and in fact, your BEST chance is to stick to your story no matter what! But hey, why not kill yourself AND the girls?? What a POS!
The turn on the Fireman - Yeah, huge post dedicated to this, so I won't beat a dead horse, but he had so many opportunities to kill everyone, if that's what he wanted to do, or just run off. You can;t make him a protector, only to have him be a cold blooded, thoughtless killer two seconds later. It just doesn;t work in a narrative flow of his actions.
Aside from those things, I thought it was ok, was nice to see a bit of mayhem , R rated style in a disaster movie, and the horror of being trapped in a country you do not know, in a situation like that,. SO the story and situation were awesoem, it just wasn't executed that great for me. SO it gets a 5 out of 5, because the actual "disaster" portion of the movie was a bit lackluster.
What say you?
Oh I travel, a sort of licenced troubleshooter.
