If this is supposed to be a prequel of sorts, why don't K & K remember their Grandma was a witch? They are adults in the beginning of this film and they are both in other Paranormals. Maybe I'm forgetting something from the other movies.
shareYes, its a prequel. In the 2nd Family Kristi or Katie, can't remember which, tries to talk to the other about what happened but the other doesn't want to know. Maybe it was traumatising for them and they forgot it. Or, as part of the deal with the Demon, maybe there memory was wiped so they couldn't remember it.
shareWhile their step father figured it out due to his researching the coven and situation, it's easily believable 2 young children didn't figure it out and it was probably never explained.
