This movie was horrible to watch, and not because it was scary(spoilers)

I watched PA1 about 3 years ago, alone in the dark and remember it actually got me a bit scared (I'm not superstitious but it did play tricks on the mind in the wee hours of the night, trying to sleep).

This weekend I've watched PA1-3, PA1 still held up as a good movie. PA2 started to get a bit annoying, the way the dad kept denying stuff and the ignorance when it came to checking tapes. Ali even shows him the door slamming shut, no reasonably intelligent human being would mistake that for a breeze, especially after all the strange things going on. I think it's a bit of a plot hole when you start making the characters willfully ignorant.

I made it about an hour (of 1:30) into PA3 before I just started wanting to switch the movie off. The mom (not good with remembering names), was like the dad from number 2 multiplied by 10. Dennis tries to convey his point in a long winded fashion instead of saying "LOOK AT THESE TAPES! *beep* JUST FLIES AROUND THE ROOM AND MY FRIEND GETS A MASSIVE SLASH MARK ON HIS TORSO". Kristi jumps down the stairs unharmed, Dennis was actually looking at the tapes, but somehow doesn't notice this? He was watching them like a hawk!

As a kid in the early 90's I used to read a lot of R L Stine "Goosebumps" books, I'm sorry to say it but this movie watched like a Goosebumps book reads, character's willful ignorance covering up holes in the plot. Those books are designed for children and even as a kid it annoyed me.

The only reason I'm going to check out the 4th one is for Katie's tits. Edit: just watched the 4th one, twice as bad as the third and barely see Katie.
