So did Lois killed her own daughter (or had the demon kill her) because she refused to have more children?

I doubt Lois gave a rat damn about anyone but herself. Julie was just a tool, a bargaining chip.
On the remote chance she cared a little, we don't know that Julie was dead for sure (unless this is revealed in Part 4, which I haven't seen yet).
We just see an unconscious OR 'magic trance' Julie hover above the stairs and then is thrown at Dennis.

"Penfold, shush."

Yeah I think she only saw Julie as a means to an end. She tried to convince her earlier in the film to try for a another child so maybe it could be a boy but Julie refused, I guess after that she was of no use to Lois so she didn't actually care if she died. That's what I think anyway...

And I think that was why the 'deal' seemed to have been changed, why suddenly Kristi was going to *marry* Toby.
Because Julie refused to have any more children. Julie herself was likely *married* to Toby when she herself was a child.

Then in Part 2, they tried to stop it all but ended up transferring the *deal* to Katie instead.

Lois wasn't exactly in her right mind, so couldn't think for herself, as she was possessed.

We don't really know how the demon known as "Tobi" first made its appearance to the coven but I'm sure it possessed them all when it did. None of these witches, from what we've seen, seem to know what they're doing. They all behave like robots and their only function is to do the demon's bidding, like Katie after she kills Micah and is possessed for good. I suspect the witches wanted to summon the demon in order to gain/advance their powers and got more than they bargained for.

I like to think that the real Lois, before her possession, would never have sacrificed her daughter or granddaughters.

Don't let anyone ever make you feel like you don't deserve what you want.

There is nothing to indicate that Lois was possessed by Toby. The films made it clear that the coven made a deal with Toby for wealth, in return for Hunter.

I don't think Julie died. In PA2 Katie is talking to kristy about how it was back then and is saying how Kristy didn't talk to anyone and was acting weird and how their mom was going crazy (something like that.) I assume both these behaviors took place after the events in PA3.

I recall reading on a website about the 'PA' films that Julie did die.
*spoiler ahead*
The only survivor to date is one of the females from "PA 2".

I thought the line was that Mom HAD gone crazy (meaning years before). But I'd have to listen to it again.
