Was a little modern for the year 88? Not the grandmas house but the first one? When I saw the house I found myself forgetting it was suppose to be the 80's...anyone else think this?

Yeah, they didn't "80s" it up too much. Perhaps they didn't know how lol.
To be fair, that would be a rather difficult era to replicate house-wise.

I thought it was pretty 80s. The garage doors are brown which is pretty much unheard of these days. And the lights in the dining room.

I think the tiffany shade over the dining table was the only thing 80's about that place.

The kitchen was fairly 80s, too, with the tile countertop (and butcher block on the island). Same goes for the tile on the kitchen floor.
