Very engaging show
So who else is really enjoying the show?
I can understand that some people who have a more expert knowledge of Britain in the 1950s than I do might be irked by some anachronisms. Nevertheless I find the show intriguing, both in terms of plot and emotion, sometimes beautiful in terms of dialogue, exceptionally well acted all round, and absolutely gorgeous to look at.
I'll wait till I've seen all six episodes before making a definitive judgment on 'The Hour''s quality, but I certainly find it a pleasure to watch.
