They just began playing this on BBC America, really enjoyed the first hour I think this will be a good series...

Hopefully. I'm more guardedly optimistic. There's a number of very good moments but it didn't blow me away

I just watched the first episode on line through Xfinity TV, and it was a full hour. Good show. I'm looking forward to more.

The non broadcast versions are generally the longest form available. The only reason they snip them is to work commercials in

Interesting. I had forgotten about that aspect. I downloaded the pilot from itunes so I saw the original cut and then I watched the broadcast version kind of half pay attention. I didn't notice any drastic cuts. I think they may have snipped some stuff from the scene where the professor is stalked and killed. They may also have sped it up. When watching it on tv I seem to recall the bit where he gives the newstand guy his cigarette case as being more frantic and rushed than it was in the digital version.
