I planning to start watching The Hour from the first series itself. Can anyone tell me, without spoilers, if the Series 2 finale is close ended or does it end on a cliffhanger?

It ends on a cliffhanger and as the show has been cancelled that's what it will stay.

Just finished watching season 1 and Netflix says there are 4 discs but I sure can't find them. So far, I really enjoyed The Hour and am hoping to watch the second season someday soon.
