I am kind of glad it was canceled. It was perfect.
Sometimes it's better to end a show in it's prime than to let it drag on for too long. The ending is so bittersweet and impactful that I can't imagine a better way to end it, or how to have it go on from here without it feeling like it's being stretched. Not that I couldn't be surprised, and the writers seem more than up to snuff, but sometimes it's nice just to let a story end without turning it into an on-going saga.
