Loved it. Pacino was just perfect.

What a charming, funny, likable, moving little movie. The best one I've seen in 2015 so far.

It's a gift for Pacino fans. He's fantastic here. Impossible not to like his performance.

The entire cast was great. Great chemistry between Pacino and Bening, Pacino and Plummer, Pacino and Cannavale. Even the bit roles were likable.

It avoided the cheesy side of things that would have been really easy to fall into.

It's a fine film that makes for a great date night flick. A lot of laugh out loud moments and a surprisingly moving ending.

8.5/10

I agree with dcTalker assessment. I was so much into the movie that I wanted to scold "Danny" for his foolish choices. Annette Bening was great casting as she is not drop dead gorgeous (in this film). Is there chemistry between them? See if they do kiss. Just a terrific movie - very enjoyable.

I agree. Really nice film. And Pacino was very good in it.

Classy stuff from Pacino. But he could have taken a few singing lessons though. He deserves oscar nom even though the movie itself is not that great.

I agree. Pacino is one of the (count'em with one hand's fingers) best actors ever. Period. And the film is great.

Imagine if Pacino won an Oscar for his performance in this piece of garbage. It would mean both his Oscars are for performances in melodramatic dross.

Totally, it was an Excellent Film
