LOL These songs...

Are really corny and his dancing is really funny. And I'm not some person that only listens to new music I like a lot of stuff from 60s and 70s but none o it sounds like this lol. You can tell whoever wrote these songs was just trying to pump out some songs that sound like 70s Dylaneque type songs

And the coke thing.. Do 70 year olds do coke? haha I mean I used to do coke when I was in my 20s but I couldn't imagine doing it at 70 years old with health problems..etc haha. I would think I'm having a heart attack probably lol.

Pretty Good movie though.

Thats all.

Well they only played one of his songs in the movie and it was a big hit back in the early 70's. He admits that its a cheesy pop song. The story line seemed pretty accurate of a guy who made a ton of money and success from a pop hit and lives off it into his golden years.
I hope that you are not talking about the rest of the sound track which was made up of all of John Lennon's songs, many of which are truly classic music.

As to the coke story line for a 70 yo guy I found that a little surprising too but I don't have any experience with that. Doesn't seem like a recreational drug for 70 something guys.

Yeah I was pretty much just talking about the song in the start of the movie when hes dancing on stage haha. I posted this right after I saw that part.. But yeah most the music in the movie is good stuff.

Was pretty good movie though.. Best pacino role I've seen in a while.

For most actresses of "a certain age," it's play that character or fade into obscurity.

As for the coke, does anyone do coke anymore, regardless of the age? I ask because I do not know.

As for those songs: They were horrible, and not in the entertaining sense.

And as for this film, I think the performances were credible but the writing was weak. 6/10 stars from me.

Pacino dancing has always been a bizarre sight - check out Cruising & Scarface for reference.

Ask Don McClean, Keith Richards, and other countless aging rockstars if they still do drugs. Most will gladly say *beep* Yeah
