'Tina's Story' SPOILERS

Probably a weeny bit hypocritical of me to watch this after I was so critical of "Stephen's Story". But, what with it being a sort of continuation of last week's story and as the always excellent Anna Maxwell Martin was in it, I set the recorder... Much less problematic than "Stephen's Story" - well-written, great acting, atmospheric and generally very plausible... A couple of minor niggles... I'm sure any half-way decent judge would have revealed to the barristers that he'd presided over Stephen's case at the earliest possible opportunity, rather than interrupting a witness mid-testimony... And, Tina being raped would have worked better if Ewen Bremner had played Frank as a nasty piece of work... It was natural that Frank would be angry that Tina was going to tell the truth. But, Ewen Bremner played him as a decent bloke. So, arranging a rape seemed excessive... Mind you - his subtle suggestion that Frank was having second thoughts as it was happening was an excellent piece of understated acting... Anyway, generally, very good and I'm glad I watched.
