Mo and Sue's Story

Wow. Just watched this episode with Anne-Marie Duff and Olivia Colman giving powerful performances. Won't give any spoilers so that the heart wrenching story unfolds for you in the way that it is intended.

You won't soon forget the story or their performances. Bravo BBC

Good acting, but weak over all in terms of story.

Yep - reminded me of old school TV Playhouse Theatre.

Nice work from Colman, mind.

I agree. Brilliant, brilliant actresses, both of them.
I didn't enjoy the story as much as the previous one, but the performances by these two made up for it.

Very poor episode story wise, good performances but lazy direction (a rarity from Blair, who's the best in the business in my book).

Not a patch on the first ep, which was excellent.

Mo's Story was the worst in the entire series.

It was very poorly written and that's not like Jimmy McGovern at all.

For example how did the detective get permission to bug Mo's house? That would never have happened in real life. He had no evidence.
