Good, but far too similar to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0289351/combined

Was good, as the whole series has been, but a bit incredulous that the only guilty verdict went Kenny's way.
The police had evidence that the innocent victim had been attacked by more than one person. The landlord alibi was obviously proven to be false as soon as Kenny confessed all, so the brothers lost their alibi there and then.
It really pains me to post this but you know you don't always get justice when you tell the truth which is something I am sure we all know. I think that might have been Jimmy McGovern's message here. Another good episode. Joe Duttine particularly good.
shareThere was a lot left out so I guess the viewer has to fill in the blanks. For that outcome I'd assume they simply didn't have enough evidence to convict the brothers. The only eye witness was Kenny, who has a possible ulterior motive (reducing his own blame) thereby weakening his own testimony. So I suppose there was enough reasonable doubt. I'd further assume that he wouldn't have been able to pay for the best lawyer in the world judging by his job and largish family.
The brothers would have been able to come up with a story between them which might have included some believable motive for Kenny wanting to blame them.
I choose to believe what I was programmed to believe
I´m not brittish so I´m not familiar with their laws. To me it feels strange that Kenny it found guilty of murder. Whouldn´t assault or manslaugter be more correct?
It also feels wierd that the other two where found "not guilty", they have no alibi, Kenny confessed that they took part in the assault, Kennys wife saw the three of them take of together, going the park.
I completely agree. That coupled with the 'stolen" car that they burned make it seem to me that a half decent prosecutor could have gotten them all convicted.
It is frustrating not knowing British trail procedures. In the USA Kenny would likely not have gone to trial at all, but have pleaded guilty to manslaughter and given evidence against the brothers.
