what,no self defence moves?
I thought all prison guards would be trained in basic self defence moves,as I found it highly unlikely that scabby little teen would overpower her so easily,she would of whipped his arse easily.
sharei know for a fact they are trained in self defence my uncle is an ex-prison officer/guard and be showed me a few self defence moves he'd been taught one was by apply a little pressure in the right place he could easily knock out or even kill you

I would have thrown the other guard, Frank, to the wolves so fast that his head would have been spinning. He f'd up, but it was an oversight due to the mini riot in the rec room; He would have gotten censured at most. The b@stard colluded in the rape!
When all is said an done it was not the guards' fault anyway, the boy arrived before his paperwork and it wouldn't have mattered because it didn't include the highly significant detail that he was a paranoid schizophrenic who should have been in a mental facility to begin with.
As for letting the other boy go? I get that she was under undue stress, but really?! He was a murderer!
