motive to kill Gale

I love Gale, and I understand why they didn't kill her in 6, since Dewey died in 5 and Sidney wasn't in 6. But it seems like she's got to go eventually. And I thought of a perfect way it could work and tie in to the motive.

Most of the motives have been about Sidney. But imagine a motive about Gale. Gale certainly has her own brand of fame from all these massacres she's survived. And even when the other survivors hate it, she still parlays it into a building block for her career. Imagine the motive built on that. In 7, a new main character could be her assistant/protege. They end up being the killer because they want to replace Gale. They can cite that she's aging and has lost her grasp on modern-day media. So they need Gale to die so they can become the new Gale, a la Jill's motive toward Sidney especially.
