How Early Did Into the Film Did You Identify Ghostface? [Spoilers, obviously]

I have to say, I pretty much made Wayne Bailey and Ethan Landry fairly early on in the film (although I was a little more on-and-off about Ethan, especially when he appeared, in fact *did*, help Mindy, after she'd been stabbed, which I still don't quite understand). In fact, Ethan/Dermot Mulroney even makes an explicit reference to how obvious his secret identity was, during his reveal, when he says something along the lines of "Duh! Of course it was me." Clearly, there had to be something more to the story regarding his son's/Quinn's brother's death. However, I *didn't* guess that Quinn was still alive/one of the three killers (although, after Billy Loomis' fake-death in the first Scream, and Roman Bridger's fake-death in Scream 3, I should have learned to not rule out *anybody*, even the dead, *especially* if we don't see anyone do a check of their corpse/their entire brain hasn't been smashed to smithereens, which at least ruled out Anika from showing up as Ghostface).

Even though I guessed one, maybe two, of the three killers, it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the movie (in fact, I'd have been disappointed if Wayne *hadn't* turned out to be the killer, seeing how obvious it had to be), but this was the *first* time I guessed correctly (partly because I just went along with the ride/didn't bother guessing during most of the other films).

But what about everyone else? Did you guess the killers correctly this time? All of them? And how early on? And what other Scream films did you guess the correct killer(s) early on?

I suspected Durmot Mulroney's character from the moment I saw him on the poster. Call it a sixth sense I guess, but I walked into Scream VI convinced he was the killer or one of the killers.

Honestly, that's a difficult question, for this franchise especially. We've literally been trained since the original that "Everyone is a suspect!" So basically I always watch with the lens of everyone being a potential Ghostface. Then after I know who it is, later watches are just spotting red herrings among the bunch

I see what you mean, but occasionally there are some explicit story elements that make a particular individual more likely to be the killer.

Instantly. Just look for the white people.

The rules scene. Just pay attention to who got the most offended and became the most defensive in that scene. Plus the killers did everything they could to convince everyone to question everyone else in that scene. Everyone that wasn't the killer was pretty calm and stuff during the whole scene.
