Sorry Chester, it's been far longer than 6 years. You just didn't recognize it. Watch in search of Darkness and listen to the actors, directors and producers from the 70's and 80's. Funny thing is, by ignoring it and praising their good work, we got good movies. Creed 3 was great. Cocaine bear was fun. Avatar was just pretty. Even my mom, a big liberal, said it was boring and the only reason she finished it was the visuals. I walked out after an hour because it was a stupid story. Ignore woke-seeking and just watch what you like. Heck, you can make movies with your stories. Be like George Romero and make a classic. Now the time is ripe for up and coming creatives to knock the overbloated crap out of the water. I made a movie in 2010 and it was a frustrating mess of fun.

It’s hard to pin down when it ‘started’ which is why I said ‘6 years or so’.
It feels like roughly 6 years ago I noticed there was a real problem and stopped impulsively going to the cinema without first checking that I was paying to see an actual movie and not some creepy Leftist propaganda.
