How did SHE get into this movie?

Seriously, am I the only one thinking a. a girl doesn't belong in this lineup and b. if they were going to put a female in why not someone we know? or is atleast someone gorgeous?

So I guess the real question is:
Who did she *beep* to get into this movie?

reply

I agree.

To try and add a female audience perhaps? Otherwise the punters would think it was aimed solely at men who grew up in the 80s and 90s. Not that I'd object. But the investors probably would.

Sly likes to put newbies in these movies, actors that people might not know about I guess.

reply

I agree with your agreement. Whoever this kid is she hasn't earned the right to even fetch coffee for any of the rest of the cast.

reply

Sly needed a woman to talk with. He developed a friendship in the last movie with a woman.

reply

I agree they should have used michelle rodrigez

reply

I'd rather a female sidekick from Sly's previous career than Michelle Rodriguez.

Either Sandra Bullock or Sharon Stone would have been perfect.

Sharon Stone ftw, she WOULD be perfect for a role because she's from the right era. It could have been a great comeback role for her, and also everyone loves her in anything she does. She's an awesome actress and a big classic name like everyone else is in the film. Not really sure why they have Jason Statham in them though, I don't mind him, I'm not complaining, but he's not a classic era action hero. He's more modern.

I didn't say it was anything to do with aesthetics. I meant that since the movie is mainly a reunion of Sly's generation (plus a few newcomers), Stone or Bullock would have fitted right in. Actually, Bullock WAS considered for a cameo in the first film if I recall the news from the time.

Besides, I never said I had anything against the Asian woman. I just said I'd rather Stone/Bullock in this film than Rodriguez (whom I love in the F&F movies, by the way).

Yes, you are the only one. Far as I can tell, most movies do have a good mix of race in their line-up. As to YOUR real question, unlike you, there are ways to get into good jobs without resorting to *beep*ing.

If OP doesn't think that girl isn't smoking hot, you obviously don't know what GIS is or possibly have a broken penis.

She's ugly

Fix your eyesight, pronto.

I thought that was Michelle Yeoh because of her reputation as a stunt-actress, but I had not seen Babylon AD in a while so I forgot what she looked like. Then the end credits gave me the finger.

I agree.
The character was pretty dull and uninspired.

Barney and Maggie's relationship sort of reminded me of Rambo and Co from Rambo, Part II. Rambo and Co even had a discussion about what it means to be an expendable if I recall.

I thought the Maggie character was an interesting addition to the cast. It was unexpected. Not sure why Stallone casted her, but maybe he explains why in the DVD commentary?

As for her looks, I thought she was very pretty.

Actually what I was thinking was that: she must've taken a low pay cut or gotten some director mad at her or something. She was the ONLY redeeming thing in that entire movie. I felt so sorry for her having to stoop to their level and being the best actor out of all of them and she wasn't really that good.

Good observation. And to the OP: she's absolutely a beautiful woman. Why she had to get sexually harassed(*) by a bunch of old men for our viewing pleasure will likely always be a mystery.

* The comments some of them made would get them fired from most companies.
