The director of an ensemble action piece like Con Air should have been a great choice for this kind of movie. It didn't quite work out for the best, but it's still a decent enough sequel and I still think Woo will make an entry in this franchise eventually.

I don't think CON AIR is any great shakes and if there is any fun to it it's because of the cast.

West for an action director is very poor at directing action. This entire film looks like it was shot by 2nd unit.

He was just a puppet director, just like patrick hughes is for number 3.

West has good form for action films but I guess Stallone called a lot of shots though.

No thanks. This series doesn't need double pistol shootouts and Mexican stand offs. Plus we don't need slow motion pigeons either

He did fine but honestly, I think Joe Carnahan would have been fucking awesome as a director for this franchise.
