No Noire 2?

I've been reading that Team Bondi and Rockstar have had a huge falling out. So much that Rockstar point blank refuse to publish the next TB game.

Now this causes all sorts of problems as part of the deal RS had with TB was that RS retain all the legal rights to Noire. The name, the characters, etc.
This means even with a different publisher TB can not make a Noire sequel or other.

However RS could develop and publish more Noire games themselves.
Now don't get me wrong, RS develop some great games...but could they do a Noire 2 justice?
I don't think so. RS have always been much more 'action' paced in their game development style...this is not what Noire is about.
Also RS are more 'immature' and 'broad' with the humor...not what Noire needs.

I think it' pretty clear TB were the genius behind Noire and I'm not convinced RS could deliver a 'true' Noire sequel.

Of course TB could still make games in a similar vein as Noire, they just can not use the name or characters.

So what do you think.
Is a TBless Noire 2 a good idea, or should TB make more game of this style without the Noire name(s) and charaters and try to start their own franchise?

It would be cool if you could have a game set in the 70's similar to L.A noire but with a character like Harry Callahan, or even some random who can decide to join the cops or mafia.

Yeah I agree rockstar would do a better job than Team Bondi, I mean cases are all good and well but it would have been better with some GTA features (differerent radio stations, in game money to buy places + chance of wounding a suspect OR killing).

Other police activities to try would be:
i) Infiltrating rival gangs
ii) Preventing assasination attempts
iii) Riot Squad/SWAT Team
iv) Crisis Negotiator

Don't touch the watch.

Why do people always ask for a link, do you not know how to use Google?

No offence meant but come on. It's not too hard is it?

But, I didn't read about the falling out online...hence no link.
Yet I just searched "Team Bondi fall out" and found several stories reporting on this. With more detail than I originaly read.

Seems the falling out stemed from 'poor management' at TB with several ex-members speaking out.
Also some mention of RS trying a hostile takeover wanting to turn TB into 'Rockstar Sydney'.

There are a lot of reasons for the falling out...depends on what you read so not every detail may be true.
But one thing is for sure, they have gone seperate ways and RS do own the L.A. Noire IPs.
